We have now seen all the polls (including the unserious ones). We have seen all the analyses and data projections. We have seen the rallies and the use of drone footage to measure the size of crowds. After so much talk in previous cycles of a Third Force to challenge the APC and PDP hegemony, we have finally seen that force emerge in the shape of Peter Obi and his Obidient Army.

In any other country, you might say we have more than enough information to make an educated—and accurate—guess as to what will happen in the Presidential elections on Saturday, 25th February. But Nigeria is not a joke to anybody and is certainly not ‘any other country’. So as much as I long for the day when things are
