How Nigerians really responded to the lockdown

The World Health Organisation (WHO) documented the first official report of the Coronavirus on December 31, 2019, when Wuhan in China recorded a cluster of pneumonia cases. 

Weeks after, the WHO identified these cases officially as a new strain of the Coronavirus called Covid-19 and announced it as a pandemic on March 11, 2020. Although Nigeria had already recorded its first case by February 25, everything still seemed pretty normal till March 30 when the country went into lockdown.

By April, most of the world had responded in unison with national lockdowns, which included school closures, workplace closures, and travel bans.
