Rewind to eight months ago.

Uncertainty had just become the new normal, and very few people knew what the future had in store of them. The virus moved from one country to the next, worsening health conditions and wrecking plans in its wake. 

Governments didn't know what to do. One minute, the Prime Minister of the UK, Boris Johnson, was boasting that it was ok to shake Covid-19 patient's hands at a hospital. It was hard for anyone to predict what would happen next because countries had different experiences with the virus. European countries like Italy felt the full brunt of the pandemic, while Africa dodged all the horrific predictions.
